Is Zumba good for losing weight/belly fat?
A: Zumba is a fun, effective cardiovascular workout, so it can help increase your endurance and burn fat as long as you do it regularly.
How should I dress for Zumba?
A: Come dressed in comfortable fitness attire that's easy to move in and can handle sweat. Wear sneakers that support dance movement. Good shoes include cross trainers, dance sneakers, or even running shoes with a worn-out tread.
Do I have to purchase a class package to come to a Zumba class?
A: Nope, $10 drop in fees can be paid in cash or debit/credit card upon arrival. Bring a friend with you and receive 50% off the drop in fee. (Applies only to Janee's studio, other studio/event locations vary in payment options.) Also, check the events page for deals on tickets to Zumba events.
What is the referral program?
A: The referral program is available for students with any existing membership. Refer family members and friends to receive extra discounts, gifts, and more when they sign up for their first class package or membership.
Can I buy Zumba Wear if I'm not an instructor?

My child is taking Zumba Kids, do I have to stay with them?
A: It is not required for you to stay during Zumba Kids class, but if you wish to stay and watch please stay in designated seating area in the back of class. Due to privacy regulations of other students and parents, photographs and/or videos of class are not allowed.
What is the difference between Zumba Kids and Kids Jr?
A: Zumba Kids Jr is for children ages 4-6. Zumba Kids is for children ages 7-11. Both classes help develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children's lives by making fitness fun.
Is Zumbini a fitness class?
A: Although you may burn some calories while jumping around with your baby, Zumbini is not a fitness class. It is an early childhood development class. The Zumbini program is designed to stimulate learning, inspire dance and movement, and strengthen the bond between parent and child.
Can I bring my child to Zumbini if they're older than 4?
A: You sure can. The lesson plans are designed for children 0-4 to gain the most growth from the session but all ages are welcomed in my class. Everyone loves Zumbini music!
Who can come to Zumbini?
A: All children are welcome in Zumbini class regardless of age. Any parent/guardian over the age of 18 may come with their child. Caregivers and siblings of at least 16 years old may bring a child, only with written permission from a parent or legal guardian. Please note that this may be subject to further confirmation (i.e. phone call or in person meeting.) If you'll be switching caregivers between days in the session, just let me know so that I have a list of all the names associated with that child.
